Let us first clarify the basic distinction
e-Visa is not available for every country and every passport type. Eligibility is checked in the official system by selecting country/region, travel document type and travel date. Mark Turizm’s service does not replace the official portal; it is optional paid support for applicants who want to manage their application preparation in a more organised way.

The official application portal for the Türkiye e-Visa is evisa.gov.tr. Applicants may carry out the eligibility check, application form, payment step and e-Visa download process directly through this portal.
Purpose of travel
According to official information, e-Visa is used for tourism and business travel. Work, education, medical treatment, research or long-term residence may require different visa procedures.

How is the official e-Visa application generally made?

Eligibility check is made
The applicant selects country/region, travel document type and travel date on the official portal to check whether they are eligible for e-Visa.

Official conditions are reviewed
The official system shows the conditions that may apply according to the selected information. Some applicants may have additional conditions such as supporting documents, valid visa or residence permit.

Application information is entered
Name, surname, date of birth, passport or travel document number and travel date are entered in the official application form. The information must match the passport exactly.

Email verification is completed
The official system may send a verification message to the email address provided during the application. If this step is not completed on time, the application may time out.

Official fee is paid
If an official e-Visa fee has been set by the authorities for the relevant country and travel document type, the amount is displayed according to the official system rules during the application.

e-Visa document is downloaded
When the application is completed, the official system may provide an e-Visa download link. It is recommended to keep the document digitally or in print during travel.
Citizens of which countries can obtain an e-Visa?
The list of countries eligible for e-Visa and visa exemption rules may be updated over time. The Presidential Decision No. 11172 published in the Official Gazette dated 17 April 2026 and numbered 33227, granting visa exemption to Australian ordinary passport holders for tourism and transit, is a recent example of such changes.

How are fees separated?
Before payment, the applicant should clearly see which item is being paid for. The consultancy package fee is different from the e-Visa fee that may be set by the official authorities.
Consultancy service fee
In the Standard, Fast and Express packages, the main item is Mark Turizm’s optional consultancy service fee.
Official e-Visa fee, if any
If an official e-Visa fee has been set by the competent authorities for the relevant application, this amount is shown separately from the consultancy fee.
Bank / virtual POS commission
For card payments, a commission of around 5% may arise depending on the bank and payment infrastructure used. The exact rate is visible at the payment step.
Total payment
The total amount consists of the consultancy service fee, the official e-Visa fee if applicable, and any payment commission.
Limits of consultancy service
